We selected some excellent practical gift ideas for the handyguy, handygirl or anyone else. You must listen to the full podcast for our explanation of why these items belong on your Christmas list. And Merry Christmas!

We were one of the bloggers selected by True Value to work on the DIY Squad. We have been compensated for our time commitment to the program as well as our writing about our experience. Mouse traps? Really?
Maybe as a gift to someone in your own household, but to someone else, it could be a little insulting. Might as well give them roach spray or a years supply of deodorant. How about foot odor spray?
On a more serious note…
For a family with kids, and lots of toys, a large package of AA batteries would be good.
Fun show.
haha, yes. Mouse traps. Brian could use some.
I love this list. Sometimes the practical things aren’t the most exciting thing to open on Christmas, but when the time comes when you need them it’s great to have them around! Last Christmas my parents got my fiance a wrench/screwdriver set and it came in handy a few weeks ago.
