In this Video, Handyguys Brian and Paul continue their series on the Lutron Caseta Home Lighting System by talking about the Pico remote that controls the whole system.

This remote allows you to turn a normal circuit into a 3 or 4 way circuit while controlling them all. The major pro of this remote is that it does not require a power source but rather is battery controlled; therefore, this remote can be placed anywhere, next to a couch or in a wall plate bracket. However, you do not need an additional wall box for the remote.

If you choose to mount the remote in a wall plate bracket, you will need the the wall bracket to place it in a switch plate cover and mount right next to the existing switch. You can control the lights outside of the room as the switch has no physical connection but it connected to your lighting through the network in your house wirelessly. This makes the remote powerful because, as previously mentioned, you can put it anywhere.
